Sometimes Karin thought it would be more productive to communicate with Chad through written signs but she figured if he got tired of explaining things verbally part way his patience for writing couldn’t be much greater. It was hard to tell how they had developed this kind of pseudo friendship that was drenched in silence.

Maybe it was because action spoke louder than words.

And if anyone was a person of action rather than words it was Karin. Her knee kissed his forhead with a dull thud, driving him back a few steps with the force of her kick. Moments before his thick lips had kissed her forehead. Even as she stepped on him a blush kissed her cheeks. Neither of them were much for words probably.
